Learn About Colorado’s 2024 Ballot”

The Colorado Social Legislation Committee, in partnership with Caitlin Schneider from Colorado Colorado Fiscal institute and Count Me In, recently hosted a discussion to educate voter’s on Colorado’s 14 statewide ballot measures. The event, held on Wednesday, October 2nd from 5-7pm, offered both an in-person option at the Colorado Health Capitol and a Zoom option for those wanting to attend virtually.

2022 Fall Forum

“Colorado’s Innovative and Stellar Election System”

Our annual Fall Forum took place on Thursday, October 6, 2022. We heard from authors of the new report from the League of Women Voters on the accessibility, transparency and security of Colorado’s election system. The League of Women Voters speakers include: Gerry Cummings, Susan Stark, Stacie Johnson and Karen Sheek. And, learn about several measures appearing on Colorado’s statewide ballot this fall from Toni Larson, Past President of League of Women Voters of Colorado.

2021 Fall Forum

“Preserving Democracy: A Focus on Voter Rights”

Our annual Fall Forum took place on Monday, October 11, 2021. We heard special remarks from former Colorado Secretary of State Donetta Davidson as well as a representative of the current Secretary, Jena Griswold, looking at how far Colorado has come in the past 50 years. Former board member Bill Hanna shared remarks about the founding and history of the Colorado Social Legislation Committee, from 1971 to today. Finally, our great co-sponsors, the League of Women Voters of Colorado, shared their voter guide to ballot issues on the measures facing Colorado and Denver voters.
